Day To Day

A client in the Denver Tech Center is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their growing Lab and Video Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the customer premise equipment (CPE) lab. Key duties include basic triaging, troubleshooting, configuration, and provisioning to ensure the environment's integrity and functionality. Additionally, this role involves deploying code to new hardware equipment. You will need to have experience following documentation, processes, compliance, and procedures.

Pay Range: $30-40/ hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Linux System Engineer/System Administrator

Proficiency in Linux (administration, command lines, troubleshooting, deployment)

o Rocky Linux specific experience preferred

Root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities

Experience with documentation, processes, and procedures

Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Cornshell, Ansible) Telecommunications industry experience or knowledge of CPE equipment, head ends, set-top boxes, controllers, DOCSIS, etc.

Understanding of CEV, KEV, remediation, and basic security concepts

GitLab experience

Familiarity with JSON files

Experience working with virtual machines

Oracle database experience null
