Responsibilities

This is a remote position.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting CommonSpirit Health’s Research Institute (CSHRI) and research sites across the

system. This position provides support through managing all aspects of the contract review process for research

agreements and to ensure that contracts meet internal and external deadlines as well as the needs of the Institute and

external funding agencies. This position also identifies contracting issues and facilitates negotiation of research contracts

and awards including terms and conditions and amendments or appeals according to CSH Research Legal Department

Guidance.

Essential Responsibilities

• Contract Review and Management : Responsible for CommonSpirit Research Institute contract review,

negotiations and processing of CommonSpirit Research Institute contracts. Facilitates the

negotiation process for terms of agreements with research sponsor’s contract administrators, consistent with

guidelines set forth by CHRI and CSH Legal Department. Facilitates communication by and

between interested parties, including in-house counsel, CHRI Leaders, physician investigators, divisional

leadership and other key stakeholders.

• Manages Data, Resources and Archives: Ensures accurate entry of information into various repositories.

Responsible for the collection, tracking and reporting of contracts and contracting parties information, maintains

all pending contract files, executed contracts and contract tracking tools according to CSH Legal Department

requirements. Tracks and provides identified contracting metrics to CSHRI leadership as requested.

• Efficiency and Operational Processes: Designs, develops, implements or recommends new tools and templates

to enhance the general efficiency of the research contracts review process. Manages development and

dissemination of contracting operational guides and process flow-mapping. Apprises CHRI leadership and other

stakeholders of operational pathways and processes.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum 8 years of clinical research contracting

experience.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract management at a

large national organization with multiple facilities is preferred.

• Experience in research and/or a health care environment

Pay Range

$35.28 - $51.16 /hour
