Robert Half has partnered with a property management firm in Englewood in search of a Property Accounting Manager! The Property Accounting Manager position is offering a hybrid schedule, competitive benefits, and is paying $85,000-$100,000!

The Property Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Leading and managing the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

• Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements for clients.

• Overseeing the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

• Implementing quality control measures for financial production and conducting regular audits for accuracy and compliance.

• Managing banking relationships and cash flow for clients, including establishing new bank accounts and managing reserve transfers.

• Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to accounting.

• Coordinating and overseeing third party audits and tax filings.

• Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard client assets and ensure financial integrity.

• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely collections, and payments.

• Overseeing the reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts.

• Providing training on budgeting, financial reporting, and the use of accounting software.

• Conducting regular financial review meetings with Community Managers to discuss financial performance, budgets, and other accounting matters.

• Providing expert advice and support to Managers on financial and accounting issues.

Requirements for the Property Accounting Manager include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field

• 7+ years of accounting experience

• Real estate, property management or multi-location accounting experience

• 2+ years of supervisory experience
