Insight Global Network Security Engineer III in Englewood, Colorado

Job Description

A client in the Parker area is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their growing team. As a key member of the lab operations security team, you will play a critical role in enhancing security practices within the lab environment. Your focus will be on maintaining a secure, stable infrastructure while ensuring uninterrupted access for other users. You will be responsible for managing information and data access. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating firewalls and testing the organization's network and systems.

Pay Range: $50-55 / hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in Network Engineering

Expertise in end-to-end creation, implementation, and migration of Palo Alto firewalls

Proficient in configuring security policies, NAT rules, and threat prevention profiles

Expert level understanding of Network Engineering protocols (BGP, OSPF, OSP, IP, Static Routing)

Experience with configuration and deployment of site to site and remote access VPN's

Familiarity with security incident response

Experience working with Linux based network devices CCNA, CISSP, CCNP, Palo Alto Certifications null
