Senior Medical Advisor Lung Cancer

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Medical Advisor for Oncology (Lung Cancer) portfolio.

In this role, based at our High Wycombe office, The Senior Medical Advisor will report to the UK Oncology Medical Lead (Lung Cancer) and will be a key member of the cross-functional therapy area team involved in the delivery of value through medical input and leadership to strategy and activities for the benefit of patients and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain awareness of the latest scientific and clinical advances in Lung Cancer through actively engaging with key clinicians and academics

• Build and maintain a good understanding of NHS issues affecting the therapy area, including NHS priorities and market access issues or barriers

• Contribute to the local evidence generation plan, identify data gaps and propose mechanisms to fill them

• Involvement in the development of the medical affairs strategy for the Lung Cancer therapy area

• Lead and collaborate on projects and activities in support of the medical plan, including clinical advisory board meetings

• Collaborate with Market Access colleagues providing medical expertise on Health Technology Appraisal submission(s)

• Review materials and activities as a final signatory

Qualifications

Qualifications

• GMC registered physician or pharmacist registered in the UK

Experience and Skills Required:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

• Good understanding of ABPI Code of Practice

• Ability to learn quickly, build and maintain relationships

• Strong project management skills and demonstrated experiences in leading clinical/ scientific programs with a high degree of autonomy

Preferred:

• ABPI code final signatory status

• Experience supporting Health Technology Appraisal Submissions

• Strong clinical background and/or experiences in Lung Cancer
