Our client in Endicott, NY is looking for a production supervisor to join their team. As a production supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing their manufacturing operations and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. You will lead a team of production workers, manage day-to-day production activities, and contribute to our startup's growth and success.

What’s the Job?

• Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance, motivation and support to ensure maximum productivity and performance

• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and execute production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient resource allocation

• Enforce quality control measures to maintain product quality and compliance with industry standards and specifications

• Promote and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement lean manufacturing principles, and drive continuous improvement

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste

• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for compliance and analysis purposes

• Address production related issues promptly, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective action to prevent recurrence

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred

• 5 years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production related software

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
