Silver Lion Farmsis seeking an experienced alfalfa expert to plan and manage the execution of the day-to-day farming operations on our nearly 2400 organic acres to plant, grow, and harvest various crop rotations, including hemp, alfalfa, and trite. This includes directing and managing all permanent and temporary staff, outsourced resources, and training the field team on various tasks and execution. This is a leadership position that will work directly with the executive team to plan, manage, and lead all farming operations. Our ideal candidatehas at least 5 years of leadership experience and is an expert in growing alfalfa (organic preferred), plant cycles, field preparation, pivot equipment, and labor management. You will also have experience maintaining work orders and records using AgWorld or similar software and are a deadline-driven, confident, and dependable leader who can work well with their team and executive management to lead farming operations.
