Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Route Switch Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will work with other subject matter experts and engineers, Sr. Architects, and Sr. Leadership in the deployment of SDA/SDWAN in a large, complex healthcare network as a management platform for SDA and existing networks. Candidate will be responsible for planning, deploying, implementation, advising, consulting, providing proactive, or reactive, support to the customer organization. This individual must be verse in SDA and SDWAN. Must also demonstrate competencies in Cisco wireless technology and Cisco ISE in order to offer complete tie-in in support of the optimized deployment of Cisco Route Switch Technologies. Fundamental emphasis will be assuring the successful deployment and continued optimization of Cisco SDA as a central management and automation solution at healthcare facilities.

Skills and Requirements

Proficiency in Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA/SDWAN/FiaB) Understanding of LAN Switching, Layer 2 troubleshooting

Understanding of L3 routing protocols used in enterprise environments (BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP)

Solid understanding of the Cisco Wireless LAN controller and understanding of Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNAC) for Wireless (i.e., RF Design and WLAN implementation)

Ability to communicate effectively with CTO-level personnel and Senior Directors Cisco Secure Access (ISE)

Cisco Prime Infrastructure

Cisco Catalyst Center Network management (DNAC)

Infoblox Automation and Security

Healthcare industry/Hospital sector experience null
