Major Job Duties and Key Responsibilities
Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
Use workflows on daily basis to manage shipments
Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction (daily reporting used for each desk i.e., PEA report from OMB, booking report from OMB, Missing docs report, OM Monitor)
Ensure timely movement of containers to mitigate all accessorial costs
Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed as per the Customer SOP
Timely responses to emails in both personal and group mailboxes
Manage intercompany invoice payments
Interact with our customers, arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards
Contribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors
Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS), Audit requirements, external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements
Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the Customer SOP
Meet KPI standards, per company procedure
Oversees communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external) Escalation of problems to Management when necessary
Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience and/or training
Clear understanding of the movement of containers in large volumes to and from ports, inland depots, and customer distribution centers along with material flows domestically to final consumption points.
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fluent in English.
