Overview

Lead Warehouse Technician Monday - Friday 6:30am -3:00pm

Position Summary:

Primary responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of warehouse activity, inventory and maintenance of building, grounds and warehouse. Will work with the delivery, installation, collection and service teams to ensure equipment is properly moved in and out of the warehouse and customer accounts.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure on-time deliveries, moves and removals through proper scheduling

• Coordinate deliveries, moves and removals with sales, customers and contractors, acting as primary contact

• Schedule and coordinate warehouse shipping and receiving

• Process warehouse transactions in proper systems (ie. Receipts and transfers)

• Maintain inventory of machines, accessories, etc.

• Conduct monthly inventory checks and perform full quarterly inventory

• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment including fork trucks, jacks and delivery trucks

• Provide direction for warehouse workers and temporary help.

• Serve as coordinator with Install team for smooth install preparation and return of equipment

• Order and process all parts through the Company parts fulfillment program

• Stock parts in a timely and organized manner

• Distribute parts to Service Technician; includes stocking and/or shipping

• Track inventory

• Maintain the parts/stock room in a clean and organized manner

• Reconcile and prepare payment request of invoices for parts

• Ensure that all work is conducted in a safe manner, comply with government safety regulations and company safety policy

• Other duties assigned

What we’re looking for

•Valid Driver's License

• Ability to pass pre-employment screening

• High School Diploma or equivalent; and 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Strong oral and written communications.

• Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Computer and smart phone skills

• Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Efficient record keeping skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy warehouse and delivery environment

• Maintain valid forklift certification per local government regulation and company policy

• Experience with power and hand tools

• Specific physical demands may vary based on assigned geography or equipment

• Must be able to lift up to 35-100 pounds and will frequently work in a variety of environmental conditions (both weather and non-weather related)

• Push and pull hand carts loaded with washers and/or dryers and/or air machines

• Ability to walk numerous levels of stairs

• Ability to maneuver in restrictive areas; often squatting, kneeling, crawling and reaching overhead, while lifting, holding and maneuvering tools or service parts weighing from 20-50 lbs.
