PURDUE EXTENSION SUMMER INTERN (May-August)

HIRING RATE:

$12.00 per hour

HOURS and DAYS OF WORK:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 4:30 (37.5 hours/week)

LOCATION OF POSITION:

Extension Office - Goshen

JOB SUMMARY

:

The primary responsibility is to assist the 4-H Youth Development educators in the administration of the 4-H programs. Responsibilities include assisting Purdue Extension educators in program delivery within Elkhart County. Required to work with youth and adults in 4-H, Health and Human Services, and Agriculture and Natural Resources activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be a full-time college student qualified for EARN Indiana funding

Should have some knowledge of 4-H and or the Extension Service

Must be able to communicate well, be highly organized, detail oriented, able to accept direction from others, and enjoy working with diverse groups of people

Computer skills with Microsoft Office software desirable
