Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated 3rd shift Maintenance Technician for a CNC and aluminum extrusion facility. You will be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance, including preventive maintenance (PMs), reactive maintenance, and any facility maintenance tasks that arise. Your work will involve CNC machinery, extrusion machinery, brake presses, lasers, and some powder coating machines. PMs include basic tasks such as greasing bearings and tightening bolts. You will also be responsible for fixing various components of the extrusion machines, such as 480v 3-phase motors, servos, AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, small conveyors, extruders, VFDs, and gearboxes. All machines are operated using PLCs. A typical day will involve participating in a Passover meeting and focusing on reactive maintenance to ensure continuous production.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings and tightening bolts.
Conduct reactive maintenance to ensure continuous production.
Maintain and repair CNC machinery, extrusion machinery, brake presses, lasers, and powder coating machines.
Fix extrusion machine components, including 480v 3-phase motors, servos, AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, extruders, VFDs, and gearboxes.
Operate and troubleshoot PLCs.
Participate in daily Passover meetings.
Ensure that production runs smoothly by addressing maintenance issues promptly.

Work Environment
This position is set in an industrial manufacturing environment. Initial training will be conducted on a traditional day shift before transitioning to the assigned off-shift schedule. The work hours can vary: Wed-Sun (with Mon/Tues off), night shift schedule 2-2-3 from 6pm-6am, or Fri-Sun with 12-hour shifts. Major PM programs occur twice a year, typically in July and December. The dress code includes wearing jeans and steel-toe boots.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
