Listed duties may not include all duties performed. Duties may vary at the discretion of the Clerk. 30 Hours week Avg. Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the operations of clerical and utility billing. Prepares correspondence, reports, memos, letters, etc. on behalf of the Clerk. Maintains all records of the Township; responsible for records retention program. Receives requests, complaints and information from the public and transmits to the Town Board as needed. Oversees the billing, receipt and recording of utility bills. As necessary, answers township phones and provides information and assistance to the public. Manage content on website and social media/Facebook. Distributes mail to appropriate department including preparing invoices for payment. Assists Residents with building permits, EMS signs, burning permits and driveway road-right-away applications. Prepare disbursements for mailing, filing, invoicing and updating of Township documents and calendars. Prepare and make deposits to the bank. Responsible for creating Township newsletter in Microsoft Publisher Township every quarter. . Minimum of 3 meetings per month. Provide back-up for the Clerk during time out of the office or meetings. Other duties and responsibilities as directed or requested by the Clerk.
