The Administrative and Purchasing Assistant will manage purchase orders, coordinating inventory with Product Managers, and supporting product data entry tasks; as well as providing executive support to vegetable seed product managers and deliver high-quality customer service to industry clients.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Purchase Management: Execute seed and product purchases, process purchase orders, and monitor inventory levels in coordination with Product Managers. Address and resolve vendor issues related to accounts payable, pricing and availability conflicts. Schedule deliveries, manage inbound transportation, and review outstanding purchase orders. Reporting and Analysis: Generate and distribute product issue reports, excess inventory reports, product sales reports and other necessary reports. Order Management: Collaborate with the Product Managers, Purchasing team, and Warehouse Managers to ensure efficient order processing and flow. Provide customer service for industry clients. System Management: Input and update product codes, descriptions, maintain pricing data base and coordinate pricing projects for entering data into the JD Edwards system to ensure timely updates of prices with office staff. Remote Work: Exhibit self-motivation and organizational skills necessary for effective remote work. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Adhere to GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety standards, as well as OSHA and DOT policies. Maintain customer information as required. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Experience: 1-3 years of clerical or related work experience, demonstrating proficiency in professional communication, typing, and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with JD Edwards is preferred. Skills: Strong ability to learn new software programs, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, pivot tables modifications and skill development abilities. Licenses: Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Training: Willingness to participate in required training, including GROWMARK's policies and procedures and position-specific requirements.
