Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree, required

• 3-5 years full-time, fundraising experience, required

• 5-7 years management experience, required

• Demonstrated experience raising funds and examples of positive outcomes

• Experience managing and tracking donor contributions and organizing gathered data

• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills; writing sample required

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage and report on multiple projects

• Experience measuring data and outcomes to determine campaign/appeal effectiveness

• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage committees, including revenue and outcomes reporting

• Positive and collaborative attitude when managing groups and overseeing initiatives

• Strong organizational skills and ability to embrace and facilitate change

• Excellent working knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser s Edge NXT, MS Office Suite, web/cloud-based marketing, survey/insight, graphic-design platforms

• Proficient in developing and posting marketing content, sharing across marketing and social media accounts

Preferred:

• Master s Degree, preferred

Essential Functions:

• Manages an individual donor portfolio of annual and major gifts prospects in coordination with RWJBH Central Team foundation support and data team, utilizing the prescribed protocol for moves management.

• Responsible for identifying, researching, cultivating, and soliciting prospective donors to build and maintain individual portfolio.

• Manages Foundation cultivation and fund specific fundraising events.

• Works with VP, RWJBH Central Team and Finance Department on budgeting, gift processing and fund transfers.

• Works with VP and RWJBH Central team on annual appeals, maintaining donor stewardship and recognition throughout the hospital and within the community.

• Establishes and maintains approachable business communications with individual and business/vendor donors and supporters.

• Works with the Fundraising Events Manager and RWJBH Public Relations and Annual Giving teams to develop and coordinate Foundation related and campaign driven marketing & publicity, i.e., press releases, social media communications and intranet/website communications.

• Attends meetings, fundraising events/programs and seminars.
