POSITION: School Bus Driver

DUTIES: * Transports students in a safe and efficient manner, observing all safety and legal requirements * Maintains student discipline on the bus, interacts with parents, issues disciplinary referrals, and makes discipline recommendations * Valid CDL school bus driver s license, with a class B P2S endorsement and such additional health, character, physical and age requirements as mandated by Federal, State and District regulations and policies * Performs required vehicle pre-trip inspections prior to each trip and post-trip inspections at the end of each working day. Sweeps bus daily and washes bus as per District procedures * Maintains all necessary records * Initiates repair orders and certify satisfactory completion * Cleans exterior and interior of bus * Stays current with all required licenses, training requirements Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

REQUIREMENTS: * High School Graduate or Equivalent * Valid CDL with a class B and P, S, M endorsement * Meets State, Federal, and district requirements * Reports to Transportation Coordinator and the Transportation Director

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Less than 1-year experience

WAGE: $17.85-26.25/hour

SHIFTS: 4-hour days/170 contract days
