nVent Electrician Eleanor, West Virginia

This position will support our Parkline facility in Eleanor, WV. As a part of nVent, Parkline is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. Today, nVent connects and protects our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings.

The production electrician will be responsible for electrical wiring of any Parkline building. Job duties will include the following:

  • Perform all duties assigned in the construction of electrical aspects of Parkline buildings, as directed

  • Install all electrical wiring and equipment as directed by the Electrical Production Supervisor and/or the Electrical Department Manager

  • Assist Electrical Production Supervisor with bill of materials and changes to job scope affecting materials and labor

  • Maintain safe work habits and work areas

  • Maintain Parkline tools and equipment

  • Keep predetermined Parkline job schedules and advise Electrical Production Supervisor and of any foreseen delays

  • Work with and direct electrical subcontractors, when needed

  • Ability to run conduit EMT/Rigid • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints and specifications

  • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics in order to perform task at hand

  • Ability to run conduit EMT/Rigid

  • Able to operate manual/electric conduit bender

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to climb and stand on ladder

  • Ability to step up into and down out of buildings

  • Team player, ability to work independently and with others

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to frequent changes or unexpected challenges

  • Ability to identify electrical items and parts • Working knowledge of the current National Electric Code (NEC)

  • Minimum valid WV Electrical Apprentice License
