Adjunct Job Announcement

Position: Clinical License Practical Nursing Adjunct Instructor (Day)

Location: Elbert Campus

Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety

Reports to: Program Chair for License Practical Nursing and Divisional Academic Dean

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Responsibilities: The Clinical Practical Nursing Instructor will provide competent and comprehensive instruction in the Medical/Surgical nursing clinic courses during the Day.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing.

  • Proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and guidance.

  • Hold a current GA nursing license in good standing.

  • Three (3) years of practice as a licensed registered nurse within the preceding seven (7) years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

  • One (1) year prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

  • Three (3) years’ experience on Medical Surgical Unit.

  • Ability to make presentations using advanced media technology, such as distance learning and online learning applications.
