Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Manager to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, staffing, and budget of a 200-person contract, to ensure the timely delivery of contractual commitments to the Government. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities within the team and work with partners to ensure customer requirements are met. You will perform day-to-day oversight of the program, and develop long-term and strategic objectives to ensure that end user customer requirements will be satisfied in future years of the contract. Ensure technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner. Provide supervision, training, and direction to staff. Meet contractual performance criteria and due dates.

Performance shall include:

  • Manage all aspects of a major US Space Force security support contract to include leadership, technical performance, personnel, and financial performance.

  • Oversee staffing management, including recruiting, hiring, training, retention, assignments, and ensuring labor qualification and security clearance requirements are met;

  • Oversee technical performance on the contract and ensure delivery of all required deliverables;

  • Communicate with peers within the business unit as well as customers and Site Leads to identify and resolve problems and challenges to ensure sound execution of the contract to include successfully resolving issues requiring senior level (Government and ManTech) attention;

  • Travel to various program sites as necessary to ensure sound program execution;

  • Identify, develop, and implement efficiencies that enhance productivity and/or reduce overall contract costs to the Government.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Technical discipline or equivalent additional experience (4 years)

  • 5 years of program/project experience including specific experience with the US Space Force or Air ForceSpecial Access Programs (SAP) community with contracts of similar scope/magnitude/complexity;

  • 10 years of experience in the SAP and/or SCI communities in positions of increasing responsibility.

  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI);

  • Eligibility for access to SAP information;

  • Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph (CI Polygraph).

  • Willingness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibilityincludes both air and ground transportation).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with security policy/manuals and the appropriate ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals and other guiding policy documents;

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop/lead a high performing team focused on the customer’s mission;

  • Outstanding analytic and problem solving skills;

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with DOD, industry, subcontractor, and ManTech leadership;

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);

  • High degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision;

  • Skill in professional planning, organizing, training and evaluation of training efficacy;

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; write comprehensive studies; and maintain good working relationships;

  • Strong analytical and programmanagement skills, including the ability to interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $157,900-$263,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
