Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Principal Software Systems Engineer, Senior to work out of El Segundo, CA.
Position is contingent upon award of contract
Pay: $137,000-$147,000
Essential Duties:
Performs technical planning, high level and detailed requirements definition, test planning and execution (to include use cases, test procedures and test data), software systems integration, and technical support for software systems and subsystems.
Total software system product may include concept design, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Contributes to development of new principles and concepts.
Participates with senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
Recommends/makes decisions on administrative or project work matters and ensures effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives.
Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions, which are highly innovative and ingenious.
Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product.
Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
Proficient in Software Engineering (Java, Python, C++, or other Object Oriented based languages), Kubernetes, AWS, Azure Cloud, Etc.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience.
PhD or Juris Doctorate degree with 9 years of relevant experience.
Required Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
