Raytheon Manager, Facilities Maintenance in El Segundo, California

Raytheon Global Business Services (GBS) has an opening for a Manager I Facilities Maintenance. Supervise crafts in the repair and maintenance of labs and clean rooms. Responsible for communicating and working closely with Maintenance Support Team, Infrastructure Team and customers to efficiently coordinate and execute general plant repairs. Prioritize, plan, schedule, and coordinate repair work orders to be executed by the craftsperson. Must be able to accommodate and complete preventive, demand and infrastructure maintenance work orders as directed by the Maintenance Manager. Job Description: Oversee daily activities and support craftsperson with a streamline process of assigning work orders, providing direction, tools, and materials to efficiently perform their maintenance activities Supervise craftsperson in accordance with the contracts including maintaining repair team overtime centers Perform periodic assessments of SAS’s (Space and Airborne Systems) El Segundo buildings, and submit repair work orders to maintain the buildings in the highest state of readiness Respond to Customer Satisfaction Survey comments as required, to address concerns and issues that are identified by our customers Update and schedule employee training on RTC and EHS for direct reports as outlined by RF&S and EHS procedures Meet with staff to help develop plans and ideas for better service to our customer Ensure compliance with all Raytheon, Federal, State, and local codes regulations and standards Required Skills: Minimum 6+ years experience and a bachelor's degree Experience in managing/overseeing building, facility and/or campus operations Fundamental working knowledge of building automation systems Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications Willingness to work as required to complete projects on time and within budget Able to adapt quickly to changing requirements and manage multiple projects concurrently Understanding of OSHA requirements, and local/national codes and regulations concerning facilities operations Leads, directs and reviews the work of team members in order to accomplish operational plans and results This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization Desired Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines Responsible for making improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of the job area Strong written and verbal skills Proactive and accountable Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Facilities, Engineering or Business Administration or related discipline 127801
