About the role:

The Inventory Control Manager helps provide best in class inventory management at LIV. This includes not just reconciliations and process control, but also training and building of inventory understanding across the LIV team, both in operations/supply chain and elsewhere. This person will be responsible for not just providing details on inventory and its associated cost, but also developing actions and teams to ensure problems are consistently addressed and do not reappear later down the road. The ideal candidate is or can grow into a subject matter expert and excels in passing this knowledge to other team members, as the best inventory control comes from the front-line operators and analysts handling their responsibilities correctly.

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Develop and deliver a best-in-class inventory reconciliation process and strategy to minimize both variance and loss - Minimize adjustments and surprises.

  • Own upward and cross-functional communication of inventory reconciliation and actions for variances across LIVs 3P network.

  • Manage inventory control team and day to day inventory issues and reporting across supply chain.

  • Partner with the Inventory Planning team to streamline processes and procedures around daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of SLOB and Days on Hand.

  • Support the Master Data and Supply Chain teams with ERP functionality around BOMS and transactional entry.

  • Support the inventory cost variance analysis as the supply chain subject matter expert.

  • Provide leadership and guidance for Inventory Management, costing, cycle counting, and yearly physical counts.

  • Primary liaison with accounting for all inventory questions and concerns.

  • Use accounting guidance and knowledge to help implement best in class internal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in business, economics, or another business-related field).

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in CPG or beverage company.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and think tactically as well as strategically.

  • Ability to work with tech – Dynamics 365 a plus – and help design control systems; first conceptually, then with our tech team.

  • Able to adapt and think critically under pressure in a constantly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; dependable and accurate.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and/or other data analysis/presentation toolsets.

  • Comfortable presenting to both senior leaders, peers, and direct reports- able to drive message and action across all levels of the organization.

  • Quick learner – not afraid of testing new programs, ways of working, or strategy. Constant seeker of untapped knowledge.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with vendors and colleagues in a thoughtful and attentive manner.

Work Environment:

  • Typical office environment with flexibility for industry events.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The expected base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
