Boeing’s Human Resources organization is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems (SI&WS) Electronics Engineering organization, located in El Segundo, CA. We are open to a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior specialists to find the best fit for the role. This position provides direct HRBP support to our Electronics functional leaders and approximately 800 engineering employees in El Segundo and across the United States (US).

The candidate will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders, managers and individual contributors in SI&WS Electronics Engineering organization. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience with HR strategies and action plans, policies, procedures, and industry trends

  • Experience developing solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

  • Experience creating and presenting data-driven HR solutions to senior leaders

  • Track record of establishing strong relationships through trust, credibility, expertise and business acumen

  • Experience developing winning staffing strategies and action plans

  • Strong project management skills

  • High degree of Emotional Intelligence

  • Courage to take an unpopular position with goal to achieve the best business outcome

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with SI&WS Engineering leadership to create Talent Strategies that support Business Strategies

  • Partner closely with El Segundo HR and site leaders to provide on-site HR support for a range of site-specific activities and initiatives

  • Develop and deploy integrated Human Resources services, processes and data analytics that drive business results for the SI&WS Electronics Engineering organization, including:

  • Talent acquisition – staffing strategies and action plans

  • Engagement, development and retention initiatives

  • Performance management and compensation

  • Succession Planning and pipeline development

  • Consultation on a range of HR-related deliverables

  • Champion a culture of diversity and inclusion

  • Enable informed, data-driven business decisions by providing robust workforce analytics, trends and consultation

  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with business leadership and colleagues across HR, including our Centers of Excellence (CoEs), based on trust, credibility, expertise and business acumen

  • Partner closely with SI&WS Engineering LT and other key stakeholders to develop a deep, diverse talent pipeline of current and future leaders

  • Accountable for the quality and delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources and centers of excellence as appropriate; influencing process improvement by working with others

  • Coach all employee levels including management and executive leaders on behaviors and techniques to achieve leadership excellence and culture-to-performance outcomes

  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity & inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. However , we operate in a professional, flexible environment that allows occasional virtual work when possible.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce/talent strategies that meet organization objectives

  • 3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects

  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior business/functional leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Human Resource Management, Organization Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or related field

  • Human Resources certification(s)

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and technology, with preferred applications experience in Workday

  • HR experience in aerospace and/or defense industry

  • Experience navigating a matrixed organization

  • Active US Top Secret clearance

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

Typical Education & Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)

Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior (Level 4)

Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $87,550 - $118,450

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $111,350 - $150,650
