Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the Printing/Publishing industry, located in El Segundo, California. This role is a contract to hire employment opportunity that offers a chance to be part of a dynamic and professional work environment. The role involves ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the handling of customer accounts and billing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the Accounts Receivable aging report closely to ensure timely collection of payments.

• Process daily billing using complex systems, ensuring the accuracy of all invoices submitted.

• Work closely with the Sales Department to prevent and resolve any errors with sales order entry.

• Manage, monitor and reconcile customer accounts receivable balances.

• Determine appropriate strategies for reaching out to customers on past due accounts.

• Maintain professional relationships with retailers and affiliates.

• Analyze and track returns, markdowns, and chargebacks to ensure financial accuracy.

• Coordinate the resolution of any errors in the billing or payment process.

• Handle and complete special projects as they arise.

• Track overseas shipment containers to ensure accurate billing.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Experience in handling Cash Activity

• Proficiency in Check Processing

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) software.
