Dive into the world of Communication & Community as a summer of 2025 intern! The work our team does directly impacts the perception held by DIRECTV current and future customers and employees and provides meaningful value for areas like earned media, social media, employee communications, community engagement and more.

You’ll get the chance to finetune and develop your writing skills as you work on projects that are designed to drive the transformation and future of DIRECTV. Wherever you may land, you will get the chance to put your education and skills to the test and see real world effects!

In this role, you may work on:

• Writing and managing blog content

• Social media strategy and execution

• Writing and developing social media content

• Developing media pitches and press releases

Majors/Concentrations we’re looking for:

• Communications

• Journalism

• Business or related majors

Skills and Experience:

• Passion for writing

• Experience with social media (business or creator account)

• Proficiency with various design tools (Photoshop, Canva, Smartsheet, calendar apps), is a bonus

• Experience working on the backend of a Content Management System (CMS), is a bonus

• Well-organized and able to prioritize

• Skillful in written and verbal communication

• Self-motivated and able to hold oneself accountable to tasks

• Experience writing for blogs or social content, is a bonus

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote

10 week internship program. 6/2/25 - 8/8/25 or 6/16/25 - 8/22/25.

Position requires full US work authorization now and in the future.

This position can earn $19 - $20 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers.
