- Repair and maintenance:Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, and preventative maintenance on sewing machines.This includes adjusting parts, regulating the needle, and replacing worn or broken parts.
- Troubleshooting:Diagnose problems and perform troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Setup and adjustment:Set up and adjust machinery for new products and patterns.
- Training:Assist sewing machine operators in learning how to properly set up and operate the machines.
- Equipment operation:Operate a variety of sewing and embroidery equipment, including sergers and die presses.
- Record keeping:Maintain accurate records, files, and reports.
- Communication:Communicate ideas and instructions clearly, and coordinate with other staff and departments.
- Equipment evaluation:Evaluate new equipment and recommend changes and modifications.
