Position Description:
This position is responsible for providing primary ambulatory medical care. This includes examination of patients, ordering x-rays and laboratory tests to help make an accurate diagnosis, and planning and execution of treatment. The person in this position works in a busy, pressured environment and sees a high volume of patients, as needed by TTUHSC.

Major/Essential Functions:
Provides Adult Neurology clinical services in an inpatient and outpatient location (s) to diagnose Neurological patient conditions. The position may be of any specialty within Neurology as needed within the Department. The physician must ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations; adhere to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Demonstrate professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility.

Required Qualifications:
Graduated from an approved accredited School of Medicine with an M.D. degree
At least three years post-graduate training in primary care medicine
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas or have the ability to transfer license to Texas
Certificate or license for prescribing controlled substances
Position Specific
Board certification of an accredited Neurology Residency Program
Must have an unrestricted Texas license or be eligible for licensure in Texas
