Qualifications Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes Ability to load and unload materials using various types of forklifts, including reach trucks and clamp trucks Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement Strong understanding of basic math for accurate counting and measurement Knowledge of warehouse management principles and best practices Excellent materials handling skills to prevent damage or loss during transportation

Responsibilities As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and move steel materials within our warehouse This is a vital role in our operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries Inspect forklifts and perform routine maintenance as needed Assist with inventory management by accurately recording materials movement Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders Maintain a clean and organized work area
