Philips Internship: Full Stack developer in Finance Domain in Eindhoven, Netherlands
Start date: February 2025.
Duration: at least 6 months, we prefer students able to extend up to 9 months
Type: No thesis support.
Weekly presence in hours: 32-40 hours (40 hours preferred)
The Harmonized Business Case (HBC) Team operates with the above trend in mind, acting as a center of excellence in supporting modelling for long strategic partnerships and solutions, capability building and knowledge sharing. You will be part of the HBC Management Team and will participate hands on in the team mission realization.
Your role is towards the sustainable use of the models. The responsibilities include:
Update our logical & common data models
Coding and test model driven apps (using Java and Re-act)
Parsing the API/JSON for front end manipulation/consumption
Extract valuable information out of our SQL database
You’re the right fit if
Studying towards your Bachelor/Master degree in: Information Technology with some basic interest in Finance and Accounting.
Basic knowledge of programming, preferably in VBA, SQL. Java (preferred), Databricks (Phyton).
Excellent understanding of Re-act, and knowledge of programming, Microsoft Azure, postman and PostgreSQL.
You are a developer that values customer satisfaction so like the design as much as the coding behind and poses the courage to seek assistance when needed.
IMPORTANT:
Part of our selection procedure is a HireVue Assessment. We are not able to correspond the outcome of this HireVue Assessment but will use this as an extra selection criterion.
Our intern remuneration package:
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship, you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net
Paid holidays per internship term.
