Axient is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Facility Management Support Specialist . This vital role supports the Air Force Armament Directorate, playing a key part in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, with a keen understanding of the specific requirements and challenges faced in a defense environment.

What you will do...

• Support the full spectrum of facility and building management responsibilities.

• Asset management of all furniture and various equipment and accessories that are considered assets assigned to the facilities.

• Perform daily inspections of facilities, and the identification, reporting, and tracking of facility-related issues to resolution.

• Evaluate and advise on internal space reorganizations addressing considerations and plans for space assignment.

• Interface and communicate with customers, contractors, and other Government officials.

• Areas of support include Facilities Planning and Projects; Continuity of Operations Planning; Supplies and Equipment Support; Energy Management; Environmental; Building Security Coordination

Skills you will need...

• Must have an active SECRET clearance with current investigation at the required level.

• AS degree in relevant field and 15 yrs. experience

• OR BS degree in relevant field and 10 yrs. experience

• OR MS degree in relevant field and 7 yrs. experience.
