We are seeking a detail-focused Accountant - Entry Level to join our team in the financial services industry based in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role primarily involves handling customer credit applications, maintaining accurate credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner.

• Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries effectively.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect overdue payments.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Acomba for efficient credit processing.

• Apply Cl Programming and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning in daily tasks.

• Utilize IBM AS/400 and About Time software to enhance productivity.

• Perform essential accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Ensure efficient check processing as part of the role.

• Comply with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Ability to handle general Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing

• Knowledge of Check Processing procedures

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Familiarity with financial regulations and legislation.
