Ryder System Logistics Coordinator I in Edmonton, Alberta

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: DECISIONS, RECOMMENDATIONS, ACCOUNTABILITY, QUANTITY, SIZE, VALUE

Create and Dispatch the Canadian Shipments for all Method of Deliveries out of the Edmonton Distribution Center.

  • Schedule of all Inbound Shipments into the Edmonton Distribution Center. Currently approximately 500 Trucks annually.

  • Liaison between Customers; customer service; supply & operations to ensure offer balanced with operational capability.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement of initiatives and activities to improve process and reduce costs.

  • Distribution

  • Customer Service

  • Hauliers- Drivers/ Dispatch

  • Distributor Network

Additional duties :

  • Prepare labels

  • Maintain Facility Access Agreements for Carriers

  • Report transportation non-conformance for investigation and corrective action

  • Investigate & resolve carrier payment reconciliation inquiries

  • Maintain all work instructions for package dispatcher

  • Participate site SSHE programs and requirements
