Field Services Coordinator

(1 Full-Time Temporary Position located in Edmonton, Alberta – position will be 14 months with the possibility of extension)

These departments work together to ensure our customers receive high-quality products and customer service. Our teams focus on building, testing, and repairing products, building, and integrating larger scale solutions, and providing both on-site and remote technical support to our customers. We are looking for a Field Services Coordinator to join our Field Services group in our pursuit to provide our customers with the highest quality products and world-class support.

What You’ll Work On

The Field Services Project Coordinator responsibilities include the successful execution of field service short term projects, and ongoing operations and maintenance contracts. This position will perform various coordinating task including scheduling, pre-site project planning activities, project close-out activities, and coordinating with and building relationships with new and existing subcontractors and will perform administrative duties including maintaining project documentation and handling client or other internal field related inquiries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordination & Scheduling both internal and external resources to fulfill service level agreements (SLAs)and projects, including subcontractors.

  • Assist with field related inventory management.

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, including risk assessment and mitigation.

  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder (Project) meetings.

  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

  • Determine project changes as required

  • Provide administrative support as needed, including the documentation of Field Services Processes.

  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

What We’re Looking For

  • Completion of related post-secondary education (For example: project management, business management, etc.).

  • Minimum of two years of related experience in a related field.

  • Experience in scheduling, collaboration and coordination with both internal and external client groups would be an asset.

  • Experience and knowledge of (COR) safety legislation and best practices would be an asset.

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

You will also bring:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience using computers and multiple software platforms for a variety of tasks.

  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.

  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.

  • Detail oriented. Experience with review/quality check of field reports and other associated field documentation would be an asset.

Work Environment

Typical office environment. Some occasional domestic travel may be required to visit job sites and other CSI locations.

Physical Requirements Able to sit or stand at a computer station for extended periods of time.
