EXOS Membership Sales & Engagement Manager in Edmond, Oklahoma

Job Summary:

The Membership Sales and Engagement Manager is responsible for leading the membership team and managing sales processes that include generating leads, providing information to prospective members, enrolling new members, and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction. This role also involves overseeing marketing and public relations efforts for the center. The manager is accountable for meeting membership sales, financial, and retention goals by ensuring member expectations are consistently met and upheld to the highest standards of customer service. The manager must be well-versed in all center programs and services and exemplify the highest level of professionalism and service to members and guests. This is a great opportunity for someone with sales and management experience in the fitness or hospitality industries looking to grow with an organization passionate about health and wellness.

The Role:

  • Proactively generate leads and meet membership, revenue, program, and participation goals, including personal sales objectives

  • Oversee daily membership sales operations, monitor team performance, and provide coaching to enhance effectiveness

  • Collaborate with the general manager, performance manager, and marketing coordinator to develop and execute a strategic marketing plan

  • Handle membership inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide tours of the club for prospective members

  • Engage in sales meetings, assess strategies, and work towards improving sales performance metrics

  • Keep detailed records of tours, inquiries, and guest interactions, ensuring thorough follow-up and accurate tracking

  • Actively follow up with prospective members to ensure they attend membership appointments and follow through on enrollment

  • Manage guest policies, corporate accounts, and marketing outreach initiatives, including guerilla marketing efforts

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all membership paperwork.

  • Support the hiring and training of sales staff and oversee marketing and membership budgets

  • Focus on member retention efforts by working with leadership to ensure that standards of excellence are upheld at the center

  • Actively participate in all center events and activities

  • Serve as Manager on Duty when required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid

  • Proven track record in sales, which can include internships or relevant college positions

  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience with a proven track record for motivating and driving results ​
