MTC Manager, Outreach Admissions/CTS in Edison, New Jersey

Wage - $60,000 annually

Schedule – Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the management of career transition services and Outreach & Admissions in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential Functions :

  1. Evaluate staff performance, provide staff training and implement department and personnel changes as approved by the director of career development, and coordinated with the manager, human resources prior to implementation.

  2. Oversee the management of employability development efforts for each student from career development through career transition phases of the career development student services (CDSS).

  3. Assist with development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting the outreach/career transition services (OA/CTS) systems.

  4. Review and audit outreach admissions and career transition Department regularly for contractual compliance and quality of services to students and centers. Prepare related reports.

  5. Develop and maintain effective linkages with individuals agencies, organizations, potential employers, and other who can provide assistance, referral, support services employment or other services in recruitment of students.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, or closely related field, and

  • Two (2) years related supervisory experience; or associate’s degree and four (4) years related supervisory experience required.

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
