Modivcare Exception Facility Liaison in Edison, New Jersey

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing facilities training and information about the non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) system, and to learn about facility concerns. This position functions as a liaison for patients and case-managers alike providing in-service training to facilities on how to use NEMT services effectively and to promote positive relationships.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides community based outreach and education activity.

  • Develops on-going relationships with facilities through face- to- face meetings, phone calls and group presentations.

  • 75% of work involves travel with a personal vehicle to facilitate these meetings with our facilities.

  • Maintains positive relationships with facilities.

  • Reports to and works with teams and members of management when issues are uncovered.

  • Provides training and education in person and via webinar to facilities on how to use NEMT services effectively including web-portal trip request.

  • Promotes company initiatives with healthcare facilities and case workers.

  • Provides post-meeting follow up/communication to healthcare facilities and Modivcare departments accordingly.

  • Participate in other projects or duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • N/A

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient in clear and effective verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage and present information to a diverse public audience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships.

  • High level of technical competence, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills as a valuable asset.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the capacity to develop and execute action plans to address issues effectively.

  • Strong problem resolution skills for addressing complex challenges.

  • Proactive approach to relationship building, fostering connections and collaborations.

  • Solutions-oriented mindset with a talent for creative and innovative thinking.

  • Proficiency in working both independently and as an integral team member.

  • Prior experience in interacting with health plans and healthcare facilities, with preference for previous roles as an outreach or provider relations representative.

  • Ability to use a hands-free mobile phone is required for this role.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • High School Diploma required.

  • Zero (0) plus years of experience.

  • Valid Driver's License, able to pass DMV record check.

  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Pay: $18.81-$25.40 an hour
