Responsibilities

Here are some typical job duties for stacking 50-pound sacks or boxes of raw produce:

1. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines to prevent injuries, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment.

2. Material Handling: Carefully lift, stack, and organize sacks or boxes of produce, ensuring they are stable and securely positioned.

3. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, ensuring accurate counts and organization of produce items in storage areas.

4. Equipment Operation: Use forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary, adhering to safety protocols and training requirements.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and free of debris, and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.

6. Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and report any damaged items to supervisors.

7. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.
