Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Manager in Edinburg, Texas. The selected candidate will oversee the IT department's operational and strategic planning, including innovation projects, cybersecurity, and resource allocation. This role involves coordinating the implementation and administration of all IT systems and ensuring that safety policies and procedures are followed by all reporting personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Lead IT department operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.

• Oversee the implementation and administration of all cooperative IT Systems.

• Evaluate and recommend computer hardware, supplies, and other equipment for purchase.

• Coordinate all aspects of the cooperative telecommunications program.

• Implement and maintain safety policies, rules, and procedures by all reporting personnel.

• Develop data integration and maintenance programs.

• Participate as a member of the management team, responsible for supervising activities including selection, training, and evaluation of section personnel planning.

• Complete special projects as delegated.

• Ensure all safety guidelines are observed.

• Confer with, advise, inform, and coordinate activities with MIS Consultants.

• Exchange information and obtain bids and updates on computer, communication hardware, and software with vendors.

• Maintain good relations in all contacts with the general public.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Cloud Technologies

• Familiarity with Database and Active Directory

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware and Hardware Troubleshooting

• Experience in Database Management Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in IT management with a minimum of 7 years in a similar role.

• Proven expertise in Cloud Technologies, including implementation and maintenance.

• Solid understanding of Database Management and Active Directory.

• Experience with Computer Hardware and Hardware Troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting various database systems.

• Ability to lead and manage IT projects and changes in an effective manner.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with other teams and stakeholders.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.

• Relevant certifications or degree in IT, Computer Science or related field would be advantageous.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to staying current with industry trends and advancements in technology.
