Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The role primarily involves managing various financial processes such as bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and month-end close procedures. Additionally, the role entails providing reports and assisting with audits.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct bank reconciliations for multiple accounts

• Handle miscellaneous G/L Account reconciliations

• Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis, including off-cycle commission calculations

• Generate monthly payroll and human resources reports

• Assist in month-end close procedures, including preparation and application of month-end journal entries

• Prepare and assist with providing information for audits

• Undertake other tasks as assigned

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Must have a high level of integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic

• Knowledge of accounting software and databases is a plus

• CPA or other accounting certification is preferred but not required.
