Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Graduate Data Intern to join our innovative Strategic Data Analytics Team! Your Responsibilities: Assist in the analysis of data to support strategic decision-making. Participate in the development and maintenance of data analytics models. Develop value-driven data science models to solve business specific problems. Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver accurate insights. Help in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. Provide guidance on the appropriate methods for applied data science and analysis techniques to support operational decisions or activities Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with A Master's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Previous internship or project experience in data analytics is a plus. You Must Have: Proficiency in business-centric data analytics tools such as Excel. Strong Programming background with Proficiency in data mining, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis. Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture. Familiarity with big data technologies and tools. Ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights. Ability to analyze large datasets, extract insights, and communicate findings effectively. Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing field. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
