Job Title: Electronics Assembler 1st shift up to 23/HR

Job Description

Assemble, test, inspect, and package avionics equipment using Acceptance Test Procedures and Final Inspection Sheets. Perform soldering and de-soldering of through-hole and surface-mount electronic components, including printed circuit boards. Build and test electronic assemblies with a basic understanding of computer operation. Test and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and product specifications. Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations using hand or power tools. Understand or readily learn functions and operation of Digital Multi-Meters and Oscilloscopes. Read and interpret assembly drawings. Inspect both mechanical and electrical components and assemblies. Work under a microscope for extended periods when needed. Use measuring equipment such as calipers, gage pins, and thread gages.

Work Environment

Work bench assembly environment, sitting probably 80 percent of the time. Each bench is equipped with power tools and a computer for assembly processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
