Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including device setup, software troubleshooting, and daily tech maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with resolving computer and device issues, both remotely and in-person

• Set up and adjust various devices including computers, tablets, smartphones, and printers

• Install Microsoft Operating System on employee computers and troubleshoot software applications, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams

• Support audio and video systems, including video and audio conferencing and remote access systems

• Resolve pending issues promptly and efficiently

• Create and maintain technical documents related to the job function

• Monitor daily tech maintenance tasks such as backups and antivirus updates

• Manage hardware supplies for new employees and liaise with vendors when needed

• Communicate updates to the IT Manager and other team members

• Support Board members during meetings and promote technology usage among the team

• Uphold efforts towards diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in the workplace.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Microsoft SharePoint

• Experience with Audio Visual systems

Requirements • Must possess at least 1 year of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar.

• Strong competency in Microsoft 365 Enterprise is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint is essential.

• Experience with Audio Visual equipment and software is a plus.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.

• Must possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and network configurations.

• Experience in providing IT support in a fast-paced environment.

• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Must possess a sound knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.

• IT certification, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, is beneficial.

• Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software is a plus.

• Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.

• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.

• Must possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
