Responsibilities

Functions as a clinical support and interdisciplinary team member to meet patient and family care needs. Works directly with RN/RT(R) to identify patient needs and contribute to the plan of care. Communicates with health care team, patient and family. Provides assistance and ensures safe environment of care. Applies principles of continuous improvement to all aspects of the job performance. Maintains professional conduct and appearance in performance of daily activities and communicates and works effectively with physicians and other staff members.

Qualifications

Must be a student in an accredited program for Radiologic Technology or Nursing or actively pursuing acceptance in to a program of Radiologic Technology or School of Nursing.

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Flexibility (Works flexible hours, which include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends). Basic computer skills. Teamwork Basic improvement concepts and techniques. Current BLS certification or within six months of employment.

Schedule Details

This position consists mainly of on call hours. Typically, 2 weeknights 4:30pm to 7:30am on call per week.

Weekend Schedule

Every other weekend 4:30pm Fri to 730am Monday on call.
