The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspections of in-coming, in-process and outgoing products to determine conformity to internal and customer specifications. Incumbent functions with a minimum amount of supervision after training and must follow departmental procedures. BRECOflex CO., L.L.C. is an ISO 9001 certified company. This role is responsible for learning, understanding and demonstrating ISO 9001 standards through daily work activities.

Rate of Pay:

$20.58 per hour

Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Job Requirements:

• Read and understand technical drawings

• Perform shop-level math

• Work with electronically-controlled equipment

• Understand and apply measurement tolerances to products

• Attention to detail

• Proficiency in product line and manufacturing process, after internal training is complete

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) experience

• Prior light or heavy manufacturing experience

• Previous experience working in a quality inspector role

• Working with manual or semi/fully automated machinery

• Reading and understanding work instructions to complete production steps to transform a product

• Using various measurement equipment and techniques

Job Functions:

• Stops production and immediately apprises supervisor/manager of any work-related problems or difficulties that may lead to unsafe conditions, longer than expected production cycles, or defective product

• Inspects product to determine conformity including, but not limited to,

• Unpack, inspect, and stock or release incoming product

• Perform product inspections as requested

• Complete all required quality paperwork for both internal and customer

• Responsible for re-stocking and releasing of product for production and work orders

• Maintain organization of product storage locations

• Pack metals, process outgoing shipping as required

• Conduct internal calibration of equipment

• Perform physical inventory counts
