IntelAssist General Accountant (US Based Client) in Eastwood, Philippines

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Record financial transactions and maintain accounting journals and General Ledger Accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

  • General Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, bank accounts, credit cards, and various general ledger accounts under a management approved schedule (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual).

  • Manage accruals: providing periodic reporting and analysis on accrual account categories as requested by management

  • Management Reporting Support: Provide ad hock financial reporting and Accounting data for Managers, as needed/requested, across several layers of the organization to support sound Operational and Financial decision making.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by analyzing financial data and providing insights for decision-making.

  • Audit Support: Support during audits by preparing documentation and answering queries from auditors.

  • Annual Budget Maintenance: Load and maintain annual financial budget data

  • Manage Concur system: including the processing all Employee Reimbursements efficiently and accurately with adherence to established company policies

  • Manage Modus system: Manage Modus system which provides tracking and reimbursement of Personal Vehicle mileage and expenses for Company's Salesforce.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 7+ of experience related to accounting.

  • Experience working with international clients is a must.

  • Knowledgeable and familiar with different accounting software.

  • Must have strong, hands-on accounting background with broad exposure to the full accounting cycle, with emphasis on General Ledger maintenance, and Bank Account and General Ledger Account Reconciliations performed under a consistent schedule.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written)

  • Ability to excel at details, multi-tasking, and working under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Demonstrate consistent ability to build productive and positive working relationships with Managers and Team Members throughout the organization

  • Must have experience and proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, 10-key and Accounting & Enterprise software tools
