We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Part-Time Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team in Eastport, NY, on a very part-time basis. What You’ll Do:

• Payroll & Reconciliation: Assist with payroll processing and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy.

• Reporting & Analysis: Create, analyze, and deliver financial reports to support business operations and insights.

• Special Projects: Partner with team members on ad hoc financial projects designed to improve efficiency and processes.

• Data Entry: Enter, verify, and maintain financial data accurately in company systems.

• General Bookkeeping Support: Provide backup assistance on core bookkeeping responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior Bookkeeping/Payroll Experience: Familiarity with payroll processing and reconciliation is highly preferred.

• Tech-Savvy & Organized: Experience working with bookkeeping software or systems.

• ADP Workforce Now: Knowledge of ADP WFN is a plus but not required—we’ll provide support to get you up to speed on the tools you’ll use.

• Attention to Detail: You’re meticulous, dependable, and thrive when getting the small details right.

• Flexible Availability: Seeking part-time only work and available for roughly 8–12 hours per week, with additional flexibility during peak times.
