The Facilities Maintenance Robotics Tech 3 is responsible for performing, independently or with minimal guidance, audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components within the Fulfillment Center. The tech represents and follows outlined company guidelines for general work practices and performs assigned duties in accordance with proper safe work practices. The Facilities Maintenance Robotic Tech 3 takes initiative to coordinate maintenance activities with to ensure the safe and satisfactory completion of all tasks. The Maintenance Robotic Tech serves as a lead troubleshooter and provides onsite technical skills; therefore, the Facilities Maintenance Robotics Tech 3 must have a thorough understanding of the product flow and operational goals to effectively support the Fulfillment Operations.

Responsibilities:

Execute troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems to Robotics system. Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using manuals, technical drawings, and software diagnostic tools. Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical prints and other related technical documentation. Assists other Technicians and/or Mechanics in the repair and maintenance of robotics Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools. Completes preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment according to safety and quality procedures. Troubleshoots Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/output (I/O) devices. Ability to program robotic equipment. Provides resolutions to mechanical, technical/controls issues. Troubleshoots and repairs key components for the Fulfillment Center Participates in cleaning the robotic brushes/lenses and maintenance area as appropriate. Completes work orders, other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures. Assist with developing plans on how to accomplish department goals. Must be willing and able to be certified on powered industrial equipment. Maintains inventory of company supplied tools and spare parts. Promote and conduct good housekeeping practices. Other duties as instructed by supervision/management.

Qualifications:

Adept at analyzing and resolving mechanical and technical issues. Excellent hand and eye coordination skills Ability to read, recognize, write, and follow applicable numbers and directives (verbal and written) in English. Command of basic math skills to ensure accurate inventory. Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends as necessary. Command of safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out) Frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing, pulling of freight, standing for long periods of time. Preferred experience with Geek+ or similar robotics solutions Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Degree from vocational school with a focus in the Mechatronic, Electronic or Electrical field. Will consider experience in lieu of degree including military service. Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with experience in automation. Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Must possess visual acuity to read fine print as needed. Must be able to hear and understand verbal instructions. Must possess capability to walk or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Must be able to push or pull carts of up to 200 pounds. Must be able to climb stairs. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and grasp products.

Preferred Qualifications:

Robotics certification is a plus CMMS experience. Network troubleshooting a plus. Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience working with and managing outside vendors, customers, and business partners Previous industry-based experience. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
