Attend to live horses: feeding, watering, loading, maintain records on horses, assist in birthing, administer meds, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate, clean and maintain housing areas, clean stalls, pens, and equipment. Workers must also halter, break, and care for young horses. Workers are also responsible for cutting and maintaining grass fields on property by using mowers, trimmers, and edgers. Workers will use a tractor to assist in the harvesting of hay.

Requirements:

• 3 months experience in duties listed
• Lifting requirement 50 lbs.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures
• Extensive pushing or pulling
• Extensive sitting or walking
• Frequent stooping or bending over
• Repetitive movements
