Main Responsibility of this position is to assist Tax Exempt Customers with requirements for tax exempt certificates, submitting credits/debits as appropriate and communicating with various departments and customers. Responsible for reviewing and keeping account reconciliations current, including Warranty General Ledgers.

Investigating validity, analyzing documentation, documenting activities, communicating decisions, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with business policies. Additionally, displaying a strong Customer Service initiative, providing opportunities for digital improvements, and cost saving processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate, manage, and maintain Tax Exempt Certificates according to state and job requirements.

  • Submit credits/debits for incorrect tax applications.

  • Communicate with credit/collections departments as well as the customer.

  • Processing Overages/Shortages/Freight/Concessions.

  • Incorrect pricing claims.

  • Taxes

  • Track warranty credit from Service Bench to reconcile customer’s account while collaborating with accounting.

  • Be available to positively support projects and initiatives across multiple departments.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 2 Years of work experience in Customer Service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).

  • Being able to make good business judgements on payments and appropriate push back when necessary.

  • Being the owner of processes, including development and implementation.

  • Highly organized, with strong attention to details. Ability to analyze unlike information and draw conclusions/recommendations.

  • Be able to review task list and prioritize based on business needs.

  • Self-motivated to complete task in a timely manner with emphasis on accuracy.

  • Superior follow-up and follow-through skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to breakdown issues and troubleshoot customer questions/issues.

  • Sense of urgency, self-initiative, commitment, and sense of ownership is a must.

  • Able to multitask and quickly jump between system environments.

  • SAP experience preferred.

Pay Range:

$41,500 - $72,625 Annually
