What we do:

The Cash and Custody Function engages in critical operations on behalf of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Federal Reserve System including the distribution of U.S. Dollar Currency to the Second District, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin islands & international customers, as well as Gold Safekeeping Operations.

Reporting directly to the Head of Cash & Custody, you will work collaboratively with other leaders and stakeholders across the Bank, Federal Reserve System & US Government agencies as a broad and influential thought leader.

Your role as Head of Cash & Custody Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement:

The Head of Cash & Custody Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement is a key partner to the Head of Cash & Custody – focused on strategic decision-making, strategic and financial planning, and strategy implementation in support of the function’s currency, coin and gold custody mission.

  • Ensures strategic alignment across the Cash & Custody business lines.

  • Facilitates stakeholder engagement for Cash & Custody and influences outcomes across the Function, FedCash Services, and the Federal Reserve System.

  • Leads strategic planning and environmental assessments to “future cast” on behalf of the business.

  • Maintains strong relationships with and represent national line of business to stakeholders at government agencies, financial institutions and/or industry/trade associations.

  • Conducts robust analysis of data and priority setting supporting the business.

  • Ability to satisfy the Federal Reserve System's conflict of interest requirements.

Salary Range: $225700 - $300000 / year
